Kawakubo Sushi is looking for qualified Chef to join our team. Restaurant Name: Kawakubo Sushi Sake Organic Position: Chef, Full time, Permanent Work Location: 3315 30th Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2C9 Responsibilities: - Prepare and Cook complete traditional Japanese dishes including traditional sushi and Kawakubo's original rolls - Create new recipes and plan menus - Estimate food requirements - Maintain inventory and food supplies as required - Work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure the service standards are met - Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment - Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Requirement: - Completion of High School - 3 years or higher of experience in commercial food preparation - Able to work in evening and Weekends - Able to communicate in English Compensation and working hours: - $20.19 ~ $22 hourly and 30~40 hours weekly If you would like to apply for this position, please send your resume to kawakubohr@gmail.com
