Communicates and responds quickly to ‘site’ environmental requests when clean up is required. Ensures the environment is clean, safe, warm and welcoming 2. Monitors room temperatures, cleanliness, repairs, cleaning chemicals, stock inventory and customer satisfaction to ensure quality 3. Maintains building security as required 4. Contributes to ensuring Environmental Services follows GSS service standards and processes. Works collaboratively and harmoniously with GSS staff towards department goals and adheres to GSS procedures and standards 5. Participates in implementing strategies to ensure a balanced budget 6. Monitors quality of Environmental Services to meet GSS standards/processes, reports deficiencies to Manger/designate and completes all necessary documentation 7. Maintains and operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner 8. Reports supply and equipment concerns to direct supervisor 9. Records and searches for lost laundry items 10. Participates in assessing and monitoring the quality and control for contract services 11. Participates in the recycling of materials 12. Participates in ordering and maintaining inventory distribution 13. Demonstrates dependability by reporting to work on time and as scheduled 14. Maintains a high standard of cleanliness, keeping the work environment consistently tidy 15. Adheres to all infection control practices and procedures 16. Pursues continual learning by participating in educational opportunities, in-services and/or training programs 17. Ensures an environment and resources which nurture spirituality 18. Maintains confidentiality on issues related to residents, employee matters and GSS information 19.
