Position: Licensed Practical Nurse Withdrawal Management Position Summary Withdrawal Management Services requires a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care and support to participants who are withdrawing from substances. WMS is a medically supervised, secure space for adults seeking safe withdrawal from alcohol and/or drugs. WMS offers 24-hour nursing care and access to an on-site physician in a respectful, non-judgmental environment. Rotations include shifts at both 760 Hwy 33 and 480 Royal Ave program sites. Position Available:Full time, Part Time, and Casual positions available Wage Range LPN wage range $33.16-$39.71 per hour * Evening shift premium – additional $3.50 per hour between 1900hr-0700hr * Weekend shift premium – additional $2.50 per hour between 2400hr (midnight) Friday – 2400hr (midnight) Sunday * Shift premiums compound- additional $6.00 per hour between 1900hr-0700hr from 2400hr (midnight) Friday – 2400hr (midnight) SundayFor positions of 24 hours or more per week we offer Health & Wellness benefits after a 3-month probationary period. In addition, positions that are 35 + hours per week are contributors to the Municipal Pension Plan. Qualifications: Education and experience * LPN with current registration with BCCNP * Experience with addictions and mental health would be an asset. Job skills and abilities * Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written skills. * Proficient knowledge of group process and facilitation techniques. * Good time management skills. * Ability to work effectively with program team, social workers, and other community professionals. Other requirements * Criminal record check in accordance with agency policy * Medical clearances * First aid/CPR certificate (preferred) * Proof of Covid-19 vaccination or exemption required.
