Position: Psychologist Salary: $95,233 - $112,957 annually Lifeline to a healthy workplace Psychologists play an important role in the RCMP. They deliver services that help keep our officers safe and healthy. Psychologists protect RCMP officers from the impacts of psychological risks by: * identifying and evaluating mental health issues as early as possible * helping those with psychological health problems return to their best health * building a trusting relationship with our officers so that they are comfortable seeking mental health support when needed What the work involves You will perform psychological assessments of RCMP officers. This includes but is not limited to: * reviewing medical files * conducting clinical interviews, including administering recognized psychological tests * identifying areas that need intervention * educating officers on psychological health * making recommendations and referralsYou will also have access to regular and timely peer meetings for case discussions and consultation.
