Postion: Medical Transcriptionist - Kelowna Wage: $28.01 per hour Kelowna Community Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Full-Time Medical Transcriptionist to join their team in Kelowna, B.C! This position will provide multi-site and multi-program coverage. This position works Days, Tuesday to Saturday 8:00-16:00. Option for flexible work location within the IH service area after completing probation/ qualifying period on site, as well as meeting all the flexible work location requirements. In this role you will perform a variety of Transcription duties including typing, transcribing and editing dictated reports, clinical notes, forms assessments, letters, etc. using approved transcription and speech recognition software. You will be responsible for ensuring content, grammar, punctuation and format are correct by clarifying inconsistencies with the dictating physician, reviewing reference material or referring to the administrative services supervisor.
